Yesterday we decided to take a tour around Hamilton Island and as everyone else we hired a golf buggy.
Henry is calling them Jet cars! Because they were so fast… He loved it, Stephen and he were sitting in the front and I had to sit in the back, he thought that was so much fun!
We set off with our car up the hill and looked at the view and then realized that we had done half the island already. So, we drove around wherever we could, took photos and an hour later we returned the car.
Our Jet car was the highlight of this island for Henry at least 😊
Today we had another cruise to the Great Barrier Reef. It was a bit further than last time and a bit bumpier. People were being sick all over the place. Luckily none of us suffer from sea sickness.
It was better today than last time, there were more fish, bigger fish and Henry went in to the water three times this time. It was great though, we saw so many different fish and he was so excited.
The last couple of days have been good, we had breakfast with Koalas, played in the pools and had lots of ice-creams. The Koalas live in the wildlife park here and they take them to the café that they serve breakfast at. They have two different pens for them, so they sit on trees right next to you. You can’t touch them or anything, but they are there, and it is lovely. There was a mum and a baby Koala there the other day and the little one was playing, climbing and eating, it was lovely to see.
Here are some pictures of our last couple of days.
