Loop the loop in Wanaka

The other day we all went to see Stephen do a loop the loop over Wanaka in a 1941 Tigermoth Biplane.

We went to the airfield and Stephen was dressed up in old fashioned flight clothes. With the hat, the goggles, the scarf and the jacket. Very cool, but not very Tom Cruise.

Henry and I watched him go up and Henry was desperate to go with him. We then waited at the ground in the sunshine until he came back 40 minutes later with a big grin on his face.

The pilot had done a loop and turned on the axel so Stephen was happy!

Unfortunately we missed him land because we watched some skydivers glide in the air above our heads.

After lunch we went to a place called Puzzleworld. It was very cool, it had a huge maze that we got lost in and bored. And it also had illusion rooms which was very weird and they had puzzles that we couldn’t solve. But we had a lovely afternoon and if you have kids I would say go there because it is fun.
