Riding through the wine country.

This morning we left Hunter Valley. There were fields and fields of grapes that they turn into wine.

We tried some local wine yesterday evening for dinner with a nice steak in one of the pubs out in the countryside. It was a great dinner.

We also did some riding yesterday morning. All three of us had our own horse, well Henry had a pony and we went out for a ride around the area. Henry did so well. It was only a half an hour walk but he sat there the whole time talking to the lady leading his pony- Georgie. I was very proud of him. We saw both wallabies and Kangaroos along the way, but the horses didn’t even care.

Henry really loved it and I hope we can do that again because it is a lovely way to see an area.

We did say that maybe me and Henry start riding in Stavanger when we move back.

After that we went to have lunch in a little café and then went and played crazy golf. It is not a great idea to do these things because we are all very competitive and love to win. Even Henry.

But in the end Stephen won, then me and Henry did it all by himself and he actually managed most holes with three hits. We also tried hitting the balls into nets in a pond for prices but no luck there.

Today we had a long drive to the Blue Mountains and have had a few stops on the way.

Here we are after our little ride. Henry loved it and it would be great to do it again.

A big eagle, I didn't see it at first but Stephen was flapping next to me to hurry up to take a picture so only got it when it was flying.
